Following their triumphant performance at Shiiine’s inaugural event in 2015 Happy Mondays are revealed as the festivals second headliner for 2017.

The band return to Minehead to headline the Sunday night of the event and join the already announced bands Levellers, Pop Will Eat Itself, Jim Bob (Carter USM) and The Woodentops

The Mondays headlined the 6000 sell out arena at Shiiine’s debut 2015 event. With over the 30 years at the top table of Indie and Dance the era defining, ground breaking band are as good as ever live, touring with their definitive line up of Shaun Ryder, Mark Day, Paul Ryder, Gaz Whelan, Rowetta and Bez.

 

The Wonder Stuff and The Farm are also announced to make their third appearances at Shiiine whilst also joining the bill are The Wedding Present will be playing their 1987 classic album ‘George Best’ in full at a Festival for the last time.

Other acts announced include The Icicle Works, Wolfgang Flür (ex Kraftwerk) Freak Power, Sultans of Ping FC, BMX Bandits, The Wendys The Orchids, Kingmaker, Ian Prowse and Inspiral Carpets icon Clint Boon brings his box of records for the first of the now legendary Shiiine On Pool Parties.
