Imperial Age are bringing their stage show to Bloodstock this year, performing on Saturday, 8th of August. This is one of the biggest moments in the band’s career, as the announcement isn’t just a milestone for the band; it’s also a chance to play one of the biggest independent festivals in Britain.

The band has openly said that they have found it difficult to keep the show a secret until now, and the fact that they’re able to play the anniversary event means they may have a few tricks up their sleeve.

The Band: Explore the Myth of Atlantis through Music

Plato, a Greek philosopher, once described Atlantis more than 2,300 years ago, but since then, it’s gone on to inspire so much.

Some believe that the idea of Atlantis was inspired by a real-world event, and others think it has more of a philosophical inspiration, but either way, its enduring mystery has captured the imagination of people around the world.

Art and Ice Cream

To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the festival, Bloodstock is putting on a new exhibit in the RAM Gallery.

Paul Gregory is going to be showing his oil on canvas creations, with one being 1.8m x 3m in size. It was shown over 20 years ago when the UK festival was still indoors. Bloodstock is also proud to announce the return of its black ice cream. The recipe has been improved, with the treat being served next to the Ronnie James Dio stage.

This year, vendors are going to include fried chicken vendors, sushi, and salad boxes. Pies, paella, gyozas, macaroni cheese, and smoked meats are also being sold. As a treat for fans, Spudman will also be making an appearance, with a range of jacket potatoes on offer.

If these announcements are anything to go by, fans can expect an epic show from the Imperial Age, as well as new and exciting vendors from the festival itself.
