Interpol to tour debut album ‘Turn On The Bright Lights’

Interpol have announced that in celebration of the 15 years since the release of their debut album Turn On The Bright Lights, they’ll be heading on tour to play the record in full.

The tour will visit the UK at the start of September. They’ll first play London’s Alexandra Palace on September 1, and will then go up north to Manchester on September 3 to play the Albert Hall.

The band formed in 1997, and then signed to Matador Records in 2002 to release their debut Turn On The Bright Lights. It has sold over a million times to date. Interpol are currently working on new material for their sixth album, which is to be released in 2018 via Matador Records.

Tickets will be available in a pre-sale here from 9am on Wednesday (January 25), and then will be on general sale from 9am on Friday (January 27).
