INTRODUCING: Banditsu

Meet Banditsu.

Hailing from the capital and weaving London’s distinct culture into his individual style of music, Banditsu has slowly been establishing himself as a talented and diverse artist through a number of live shows across the UK and Milan in 2014, as well as entering into MTV UK’s BrandNew Unsigned for 2015 campaign and performing as part Converse’s recently launched CONS Project London, designed to inspire the next generation of creatives through music and art.

His new project, The Miseducaton of Itsu aims to take its listeners on a journey, detailing the highs and lows of growing up as part of the stigmatised British urban youth of today, whilst also taking inspiration from Lauryn Hill’s iconic debut album.

Banditsu has spent over two years carefully crafting a track list that stimulates and educates his listeners, introducing them to his unique sound and alternative wordplay. Featuring fellow breakout stars from the UK rap scene, Thai Matic and Shadez The Misfit, as well as the popular London-born spoken word artist, Suli Beaks, The Miseducation of Itsu is areal representation of rising British talent and is an impressive sign of things to come from Banditsu.

With a laid back flow and clever wordplay in bucket-loads, Banditsu has all the elements to enjoy a hugely successful career within the music industry. With UK hip hop gaining more and more media exposure, it should only be a matter of time before this talented artist’s music is everywhere!
