IYES share brand new live acoustic demo ‘Simmer’

IYES, otherwise known as Josh and Melis, hail from Birmingham and Prague respectively, however the pair met over a mutual adoration of music in Brighton. After sharing their current single ‘Glow’ at the end of last year, IYES return with a live demo titled ‘Simmer’, once again demonstrating their unique song-writing skills and cohesive teamwork with an effortlessly perfect balance of well-crafted lyricism and beautiful melodies.

A free download, ‘Simmer’ is a very intimate release for the duo recorded at their Brighton studio; a stripped down and live track, showcasing their raw, musical ability and further demonstrating the quality we’ve come to expect from them since first hearing ‘Glow’.

The duo are set to release ‘Glow’ on the 1st March 2015 and the track is available for pre-order on iTunes here. If you want to catch these guys live, they’ll be performing at Hoxton Bar and Kitchen on 12th February 2015, with tickets available here.
