Johnny Stimson rides life’s wave of ups and downs with “Hallelujah”

Soul-pop artist Johnny Stimson takes life one day at time, learning to find gratitude in not only life’s highs, but also the lows. His latest single “Hallelujah” is a stunning representation of exactly that. Drenched in soaring synths, emotive vocals and heart-wrenching lyricism, the track reminds us to be thankful for every moment, accepting the good along with the bad.

Stimson is known for being a risk taker and that mentality has certainly paid off. Urging a European booking agent to get him a London show, he listened to his gut and journeyed across the pond. Taking this chance lead to something very unexpected. Stimson reveals, “Someone at the show knew Elton John, told him about my music, and Elton called me the next morning. In the following months we built this incredible partnership. I recognized the importance of taking risks, because it was the only way I would’ve been able to do this.”

With a diverse range of muses from The Beatles to Frank Ocean, his velvety smooth vocals and impressive instrumental skills, allow him to craft a sonically satisfying style that’s purely irresistible. Catching the eye of Elton and also admired by renowned Korean boy band BTS, he’s definitely hitting highs and has found his ‘Hallelujah’.
