Jordan Sefton drops emotive debut ‘Love Me’ from his upcoming album

With his album due out very shortly, North London rapper Jordan Sefton has decided to share a new track from the upcoming project, entitled ‘Love Me‘.

Some clever reverb-drenched sampling underpins this beauty and acts as the perfect foil for the dry vocal production and Jordan’s up front delivery. His bars are tight but delivered with emotion; it’s even jazzy in parts which I like and helps add to the old school feel. Hoping there’s some visuals coming with this soon.

I get the feeling from this track that Jordan isn’t worried too much about fades and trends in music but chooses to tread his own path and for this reason, I’m definitely looking forward to hearing the album and more singles. Talking about the song, Jordan says “It’s me asking my fans.. Are you going to enjoy these flowers while you can still smell them, or will you embrace me when I’m gone?”

‘Love Me’ is the first track to be taken from Jordan Sefton’s upcoming album Animal’s Kingdom which is due for release on 22nd February. Check it out below and make sure you follow Jordan on Twitter to stay up to date with all the latest info regarding the project.
