Lana Del Rey Teases Release Of Latest Track

It will be the latest track to be released from her 2019 album, Norman Fucking Rockwell.

The track will be titled ‘Sylvia Plath’, which will follow from previously released tracks ‘Venice Bitch’. Lana Del Rey hinted at the release via her Instagram account, which sees her acoustically singing along to the number.

Del Rey then later shared the lyrics on Twitter: “I was reading Slim Aarons and I got to thinking that I thought maybe I’d get less stressed if I was tested less like all of these debutantes- smiling for miles in pink dresses and high heels on white yachts. But I’m not baby I’m not that.”

Speaking about the album with Beats 1, Lana Del Rey says: “It’s about this guy who is such a genius artist but he thinks he’s the shit and he knows it and he like won’t shut up talking about it. I ended up with these creative types or not, or whatever, and you know they just go on and on about themselves, and I’m like, ‘yeah, yeah,’” she added. “But there’s a little bit of merit to it, also. They are so good. I just like the title track so much that I was like, ‘Okay, I definitely want the record to also be called that.’”

With her fifth release only a few months away, due early 2019, with the singles and teasers we’re only trying to be patiently awaiting it.
