Jenny Lewis has unveiled her latest single ‘Just One For The Guys’ which boasts none other than Beck at the production controls in his Malibu based studios.
“It was one of the tunes I’d tried a few different ways before I finally recorded it with Beck at his home studio in Malibu. The whole experience was super laid-back — walking on the beach, talking about movies, The Rolling Stones, and French pop music. It was just very mellow and lovely.”
‘One For The Guys’ is taken from Lewis’s third album, The Voyager, which is due out on July 28th. As well as working with Beck, The Voyager has also takes advantage of Ryan Adams and, her partner, Jonathan Rice as producers.
