This week has been a big week in music: Arcade Fire released their new record, Everything Now, Jessie Ware made her return to the airwaves with her stunning single ‘Midnight’ and now it is Belle and Sebastian‘s turn to take the spotlight.
The iconic Glaswegian band, Belle and Sebastian, have shared a track which can only be described as preppy, jangly indie pop. Titled ‘We Were Beautiful’, the single marks the sextet’s return to music – their first new sounds since their 2015 album Girls In Peacetime Want To Dance, was released.
‘We Were Beautiful’, which is available to listen below via Youtube, has been produced by Brian McNeill. The track is out in the world now via Matador.
