Having already received airplay from Steve Lamacq on BBC 6Music and received praise from the likes of the legendary Richard Hawley and James Skelly, Sheffield band High Hazels have previously supported Slow Club and The Coral, and are now set to release their new EP.
Taken from the EP is new single ‘Sequin Eyes’; filled with twinkling melodies and fuzzy guitars, it’s a reflective offering flowing with delicate emotion alongside catchy indie hooks. Of the track, front-man James Leesley says:
“The idea of creating something you can sink into and be separate from what’s going on around you – even if it’s only for a short time; that’s what we were after.”
