LISTEN: J Warner shares brand new track ‘Chill Chase’ featuring Wretch 32

As a songwriter for the likes of Tinie Tempah, Sasha Keable and even JLS, the multi-talented J Warner is ready to embark on his solo material and has unveiled ‘Chill Chase’, the first track taken from his forthcoming EP Est. 1990.

Speaking on the sensitive subject of domestic violence, Warner combines honest lyrics with a uniquely hypnotic beat and showcases his delicate vocal ability brilliantly. With hugely talented wordsmith Wretch 32 offering a verse that touches on numerous thought provoking subjects, from unwanted children to the missing Madeline McCann, the track delves into a similar area to Sway’s 2006 track ‘Pretty Ugly Husband’, as an aggressive Wretch argues with his girlfriend throughout his verse.

Being a Disturbing London affiliate, the track sounds like something that could easily have appeared on G Frsh’s superb recent EP Alfie, further showing that the high quality of music coming from the label is not limited to Tinie Tempah. With his EP set to be released shortly, keep your eyes peeled for more from this rising talent in the near future.
