Listen: Jordan Sefton shares new track ’21st Century’

After the successful release of his EP Damm: The Dream Continued, Jordan Sefton is back with his brand new single ’21st Century’.

Quickly building a reputation as one of the most experimental urban artists in the UK, he is consistently breaking down barriers and trying various different sounds and ’21st Century’ is another prime example of this.

The snare-heavy, almost military-esque drums coupled with the repetitive piano chords provide the perfect canvas for Sefton to paint his picture of the struggles that people face with living in the 21st century and what he is aiming for in his own future.

Aside from rapping, Sefton also produced the beat and co-directed the video alongside Ashleigh Jadee, which provides some atmospheric and creative visuals to accompany the track.

This is the first single to be taken from his upcoming album Animal’s Kingdom which is set to be released via Damm Records on 21st November 2014.
