Brighton born and raised, Louis Mattrs is very much a product of his environment, his surroundings and those physical attributes that makeup his hometown. Following on from an already sensational 2015, with his stunning feature on SG Lewis’ ‘No Less’, Louis Mattrs returns with his own material – an incredible 5 track EP titled Slow Waves.

The first glimpse we’ve had from this forthcoming release is the incredibly soulful teaser of ‘Superman‘, a song which was written, produced and performed by the man himself. If you hear anything sounding more beautifully chilled than this track today then you clearly need to listen again, as the beat and vocals on ‘Superman’ weave a majestically glorious soundscape. The only disappointing thing about this is the fact that it’s a teaser, but you can pre-order the EP on iTunes here and receive the full track straight away.

No stranger to the music world, Louis has already featured on Chase & Status’ 2013 smash ‘Lost & Not Found’, as well as releasing his Beachy Head EP in 2014. The forthcoming Slow Waves EP, which features hotly tipped US rapper Lucki Eck$, as well as singer/songwriter Lauren K Faith, is set to be an immensely exciting release and we can’t wait to hear more from this insanely talented all-rounder.
