LISTEN: Miracles shares electro cover of The Jam’s ‘Scrape Away’

The Jam are rightly known as a hugely respected band who had eighteen consecutive top 40 hits in the UK. ‘Town Called Malice’, ‘That’s Entertainment’ and ‘Going Underground’ are all classic songs and some would say they are a band that should never be imitated. Well hardcore Jam fans, feast your ears on this because Alt Pop producer Miracles has shared an upbeat, electro cover version of The Jam’s ‘Scrape Away’.

After the release of his debut EP last year Under Concrete Skies, Miracles returns with his take on The Jam’s track, which is taken from the bands classic 1980 album ‘Sound Affects’. Remaining completely independent with a strong DIY attitude, Miracles crafts his music with an obsessive attention to detail which sets his electronic sound apart from the crowd.

Previous track ‘Something Cuts’ gained radio support from the likes of BBC 6 Music and Amazing Radio where Chris Martin had the exclusive first play on his breakfast show and made it his ‘Freeloader’ of the week, plus TV show Hollyoaks used the track in a recent episode!

Initially a production project, Miracles is now working on his live show to be unleashed in Spring 2015 alongside his 2nd EP, the follow up to ‘Under Concrete Skies’, but in the meantime, have a listen to ‘Scrape Away’ below and let us know what you think via Twitter and Facebook.
