LISTEN: Mullally shares beautifully soulful new track ‘Overdose’

From being a Norfolk resident to owning one of the most memorable falsetto voices you’ll hear all year, many things make 19-year-old Mullally stand out as a musical artist.

He began his journey to becoming the artist we see today at the age of 16, studying Artist Development at the prestigious Access To Music College, which has also seen the likes of Ed Sheeran, Rita Ora and Ivor Novello pass through its ranks. This has given him a detailed insight into the music industry and helped him to shape his unique sound.

Mullally’s influences include Marvin Gaye, Van Morrison and Amy Winehouse and his heartfelt, honest music certainly offers glimpses of those musical inspirations. His latest track ‘Overdose’ is a combination of smooth sounding pop with soulful R&B and with the addition of some orchestral flare, creates a very impressive offering.

Whilst Sam Smith is an obvious and easy comparison, Mullally manages to maintain a real uniqueness to his sound and with ‘Overdose’ being his first release of 2016, it sets a really high precedent for the rest of the year.

Make sure you’re following Mullally on Twitter to keep up to date with all the latest news from this talented up & coming artist.
