LISTEN: Nick Brewer shares ‘Jet Li’ Remix featuring Ghetts

Having released his Warning Light EP at the end of 2014, Nick Brewer returns with a remix of the opening track from that project ‘Jet Li’ and brings along legendary East London rebel Ghetts for the ride.

Having collaborated with the likes of Stormzy, Little Simz and George The Poet on his recent projects, Nick has again proved that he is an artist that other artists want to work with as Ghetts, who has previously worked with Brewer on the track ‘Fade To Black’ back in 2011, provides a solid verse and addresses their previous collaboration with the lyrics “G.H and Nick Brewer / ah you never knew I knew him cos he’s newer / but we was both underground in the sewer”.

The beat, produced by The Confect, flits between trappy, rap and bassy, head-nodding house without sounding like a collision of the two genres and allows for both of the featuring artists to do exactly what they do best and spray metaphor after metaphor for 3 minutes and 39 seconds.

Check out the track below and make sure you grab your copy of Brewer’s latest EP Warning Light here and also keep up to date with everything from the man himself on Twitter and Facebook.
