LISTEN: Swimmers Jackson shares new single ‘So Tired’

Described as a “solo effort, with a lot of help and community spirit,” Irish born, London based musician Swimmers Jackson (aka Niall Jackson) has shared his latest single ‘So Tired’. The closing track on his latest album Murmuration, Jackson enlisted the help of super-producer Bantum to give this version of ‘So Tired’ an edgier, more industrious sound.

“’So Tired’ is NOT a Christmas song,” Jackson explains. “It’s a song about end of year exhaustion that happens to reach its apex during the festive season.” Eloquently capturing the 2020 mood of fatigue and upset, Jackson’s new release aims to bring a little light into the world too.

All sales from the single will be donated to the Peter McVerry Trust, an Irish national housing and homeless charity committed to reducing homelessness and the harm caused by substance misuse and social disadvantage. Even in the midst of exhaustion, Jackson – like many others – has found the time to give something back, despite the national headlines consistently telling us how much is being taken away.
