LIVE: Chase & Status – Alexandra Palace, London 26.11.16

What a treat it was to see Chase & Status perform live at Alexandra Palace. Alexandra Palace is an iconic venue in London and it deserves the title. The incredibly high ceilings of the main room make the songs sound stunning.

Saul Milton aka Chase played guitar and programed, whilst Will Kennard aka Status played keyboard and did on stage engineering. Andy Gangadeen played live drums whilst MC Rage kept the atmosphere buzzing.

The whole show was live streamed via the LAD Bible’s Facebook page, which you can watch here, although watching it back does not compare to the incredible live sound and the buzz from the crowd that night.

As if that wasn’t enough, throughout the night grime acts were present on stage including Frisco performing ‘Funny’. Tempa T performed their old classic ‘Hypest Hype’, to which the audience went mad.

They performed their newest single, ‘All Goes Wrong’ with Tom Grennan singing live which blew the crowd away. They also previewed their unreleased song ‘Tribes’, which is a bouncy and catchy tune.

They mixed things up a bit by playing the rock heavy song ‘Control’ featuring Slaves. Slaves and the other featuring artists that didn’t perform live were all shown on a video at the back of the stage singing their songs, which added a unique perspective to the songs.

Following this, Moko sang ‘Heartbeat’ and ‘Count On Me’ which had the audience bouncing.
