LIVE: HOLLIE COOK @ THE JAZZ CAFE, LONDON, 14.02.2018

On Valentine’s day, Hollie Cook treated Londoners to a sold-out show at The Jazz Café. The tour is a 20 date international affair showcasing her latest album, ‘Vessel of Love’ which was released at the end of January. Her warming voice radiates through each and every song that she sings, both in recordings and live performances and one cannot help but sing along and dance with a track of hers playing.

The new record ‘Vessel of Love’ is her first collaboration with legendary producer Martin ‘Youth’ Glover and renowned US Indie label Merge Records, and will be streaming exclusively on Noisey this week. The next single ‘Stay Alive’ is a prime example of her alluring lovers rock style and has just been added to this week’s BBC Radio 6 Music A list.

Hollie has made a comeback four years later after her last album, Twice, and the same dreamy music style can be found in both of her albums with her angelic voice always shining through.

As well as the new songs from ‘Vessel of Love’, Hollie also treated the audience to a few of her well known classic songs such as ‘Milk and Honey’ and ‘Shadow Kissing’. Almost everyone knew the words perfectly and sang along, a credit to her talent.

With still eleven dates left on her tour including venues in France and the US, it is a show that is definitely worth checking out if possible.
