Following the release of their album, Sun Leads Me On, Canadian indie-rock four-piece Half Moon Run brought their flair to Liverpool, added with beautiful harmonies, intertwining instrumental melodies and tight drum beats. Watching the band demonstrate their multi-instrumental abilities is a thoroughly enjoyable experience; at times gentle, other times rather obtrusive. While highly enthusiastic throughout their set, the instrumentation was diverse and impressive, whilst the switching of instruments kept their show lively and exciting. The depth and edginess that came from their live performance completely engulfed the audience.
