Manic Street Preachers debut new track ‘Let’s Go To War’

On Friday 11th April 2014, Manic Street Preachers debuted brand-new track ‘Let’s Go To War’ from their forthcoming album ‘Futurology’, to fans at Brixton Academy.

Manic Street Preachers’ bassist, Nicky Wire, introduced the never-before preformed live track by jokingly saying; “Please excuse me if I fuck it up.  This is a nice marching song; it’s called ‘Let’s Go To War’.” Also during the gig, according to Gigwise, Wire told screaming fans that they ‘hadn’t decided’ yet whether the band would be playing 20th anniversary gigs, celebrating the release of their third album ‘The Holy Bible’.

‘Futurology’ has been promised to fans by frontman James Dean, to be out in June and feature tracks ‘Let’s Go To War’ and ‘Europa Gent Durch Mich’; a song the band have been playing throughout their current UK tour.

‘Let’s Go To War’ is a menacing, dark track that is sure to become one of Manic Street Preacher’s finest moments, and be incorporated into festival sets this summer.  The band is set to play Glastonbury and T In The Park amongst others.
