Multi-instrumentalist Espa shares unique video for ‘Pray For Me’

Having released the audio for the track recently, 23 year old multi-instrumentalist Espa returns with the Studio Moross directed visual for ‘Pray For Me’, her first official video from the forthcoming LG60 EP which is slated for release later this Summer. The track showcases Espa’s stunning, yet haunting vocals brilliantly as they flow over the atmospheric beat, produced by Hoskins and Nick French.

The video wanders on a surreal journey through mazes and landscapes that appear otherworldly, providing a surrealist visual to its incredible soundtrack. As Espa sings the viewer through the alternate universe, they’re encouraged to focus on numerous spinning objects and other such imagery – clearly demonstrating Espa’s uniqueness and individuality.

Speaking on the song, Espa was quoted as saying,

“Sometimes you have to hit rock bottom to be able to move in a different direction. ‘Pray For Me’ is my way of expressing that desperate moment when you long to see the light, you long for an intangible force to save you from a situation that’s going nowhere. Although some might see this as a negative scenario, I‘m trying to convey that this universal experience can be embraced as a positive new beginning. We’re all running from our own demons; but sometimes we get brave enough to turn around and face them head on. It’s here, in this vulnerable moment, that we can capture our true strength.”
