NEW TRACK: Embers – ‘Signs’

It’s been a while since Manchester’s Embers released new music, but the group have recently shared their new single ‘Signs’, and it’s another enjoyable slice of atmospheric indie rock.

After the departure of their drummer a year ago, the band have been searching for a replacement before working on any new music. After finding the right guy, the new Embers line-up rehearsed extensively to form a new band chemistry, and to record a solid backlog of material before retuning to the spotlight.

Together, George, Will, Dan & Steven wrote and recorded ‘Signs’ and managed to shoot, edit, and produce the track’s accompanying video in their studio. This tenacious new DIY attitude to making music has clearly paid off, and ‘Signs’ is an anthem that encourages listeners to look up and out for new beginnings.

Embers will be supporting Clock Opera at Manchester’s Night & Day Café on March 1st, so if you’re keen to see what the band sound like live, you should definitely head down to see them. Listen to new single ‘Signs’ below.

‘Signs’ will be is set for release on the 13th of March, but you can listen to it on Soundcloud now. Follow Embers on Facebook for more updates.
