New Track: The Gravity Drive – ‘Kaleidoscope’

Electrically charged track ‘Kaleidoscope’ is the new offering from husband and wife duo The Gravity Drive. Mixed by The Verve’s Chris Potter and due to be released on January 6th 2017, Bridport-based Elijah and Ava Wolf have filled this number with their talent.

The track starts with a calming piano sound which compliments the dual vocals, and there’s a good string sound too, which adds a pleasing, unique classical element to the song. Despite a very busy chorus – with shakers, extra backing vocals and repetitive yet catchy lyrics – the sound is altogether aesthetically satisfying. Once all of the busyness silences, the track reverts to the quietness of the beginning and the piano playing. Beautiful lyrics, vocals and instrumental work showcase the ability of the duo.

The Gravity Drive are currently raising money for their second album, The Wildlight. If you’re similarly impressed with The Gravity Drive and their sound, you can donate money to their crowdfunder here. You’ll receive a copy of their latest single as a thank you.
