NEW TRACK: MOURN – ‘Storyteller’

Catalonian four-piece MOURN have released ‘Storyteller’, the new track from their highly anticipated second album, Ha, Ha, He – and it’s as authentic, raw, and intriguing as the songs on their previous musical exploits; Mourn (2014) and Gertrudis (2015).

Carla, Jazz, Antonio, and Leia are four teenagers with enviable musical skill and confidence, and they demonstrate this on ‘Storyteller’ with their melodic guitars and alarming, volume-varying vocals. The band’s sound is difficult to define; they seamlessly blend elements of post-punk, grunge, and indie to make listening to MOURN a simultaneously mad, but mellow experience.

Whilst both professional and personal issues have delayed the release of Ha, Ha, He, it’s clear that MOURN are fearless in the face of adversity, and these issues have further informed their talents as ‘Storyteller(s)’. May their eclectic sound continue to intrigue and inspire all those who listen.

Ha, Ha, He. will be released on 3 June via Captured Tracks.
