‘Big Girls’ is the first single released by the LA based solo artist: Sophie And The Bom Boms. From the elaborate synthesised beats which bounce off the track, you certainly would not expect it to have been produced singularly by Sophie (alongside her co-writer, David Elevator).

With surround sound, synthesised melodies and shimmering pop vocals, this single exhibits the potential success of Sophie’s (and her imaginary band) music career. Talent is heavily carried through the track, which is emphasised greatly on the wonderfully catchy instrumental. Linked together with the perfected, majestic vocals, this solo artist has an extremely engaging sound to her music.

‘Big Girls’ creates a repetitive – but effective – hook, which undoubtedly leaves Sophie’s increasing number of fans craving more.

Not having listened to Sophie And The Bom Boms prior to this single, I can safely say that they are without a doubt a band to keep an eye on in 2016.
