Iconic indie-rock group, the Pixies, have been announced as the third and final headliners for the 2021 Bingley Weekender festival.

They are set to join fellow headliners Primal Scream and The Libertines at the 2021 event.

Also playing are the likes of Joy Division and New Order icon Peter Hook & The Light, The Amazons, Cabbage and The Slow Readers Club.

Alongside this acts such as Twisted Wheel, Craig Charles Funk and Soul Show and The Big Peach will be returning after equally blistering sets last year.

Speaking of the announcement, festival organiser said, “It’s an absolute honour to be welcoming one of the most iconic and influential alternative indie bands of all time to the Bingley Weekender in 2021.

“We were blown away by the public response to the first weekender last year and we were determined to come back with an even bigger and bolder line-up for the following event.”
