Ocean Colour Scene guitarist Steve Cradock is responsible for some of the most distinctive riffs of the past 30 years . The man who gave us signature riffs including The Riverboat Song, The Day We Caught The Train, The Circle and Hundred Mile High City plus helped propel OCS to double-platinum glory with Moseley Shoals, he’s been a mainstay of British rock since forming Ocean Colour Scene in 1989 with Simon Fowler, Damon Minchella, and Oscar Harrison.
OCS played record breaking gigs with Oasis at key moments as both bands were finding their feet in the early 190’s, eventually culminating playing Knebworth for 250,000 people as Britpop reached its zenith in 1996. He joined Paul Weller’s band in 1992 and since then has appeared on all of his studio albums enjoying a friendship with the Modfather that very few have experienced, he also joined The Specials in 2014 working alongside the late great Terry Hall.
With further guest appearances working alongside Paul McCartney (Smokin’ Mojo Filters), PP Arnold, The Songbook Collective, Micky Greaney, Dot Allison, plus a successful solo career, in this debut tour talking alongside his wife Sally, Steve will no doubt reminisce about his time in music plus playing and singing hits from the OCS songbook, and much more.
