Gigslutz’ favourite new band The Vryll Society kick off the first full length UK tour next week. In anticipation of them hitting them road we got the lads to pick a playlist of some of their own favourite new bands. Check out the playlist below with a few words from VS themselves

Mike: Syd Arthur. I love the melodies and chord progressions. I like the way they’ve managed to mix Americana with Krautrock, I’ve never heard that done before.

Ryan: Tame Impala and King Gizzard for me, I love Tame Impalas first album it has to be one of my favourites ever. I have been listening to King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard, I’ve been getting stuck into ‘I’m In Your Mind Fuzz’, it’s a cracker. I also love the trippy feelings of Psyence and I love the guitar work in Sankofa.

Lloyd: Mac demarco. Also Pond, ‘Elvis Flaming Star’ is the tune of choice. It gets me in the zone gets the feeling right

Lewis: The Floormen. They have an amazing live presence with great psychedelic show. Also GOAT, I like how it echoes Northern African band Tenariwen but with a more modern take on it.
