JOYYA are a Northumberland-born band, who upped sticks for the bright lights of the Big Smoke, four years ago. ‘Horizon’ is a brutally honest documentation of the duo’s ongoing grapple with their adoration for London, as well as the homesick feeling for the quiet life, bubbling in the pit of their stomachs. Holding the cards of honesty on their sleeves, ‘Horizon’ depicts a refreshing take on the not-so-glamorous life of London, usually omitted from narratives.
