PREMIERE: TYC drops the video for new track ‘Mudtro

Rawness. Realness. These two adjectives are used so often when describing artists these days, but sometimes an artist will rise up who can bring both of those attributes to the table. We think that up & coming Londoner TYC is someone who falls into that category and we’re delighted to bring you the video premiere for his latest track ‘Mudtro‘.

Featuring measured spoken word meets Hip Hop rhymes and an atmospheric rap beat, ‘Mudtro’ is a hugely exciting offering from this rising star. TYC has a real honesty about his music and he doesn’t hide behind gimmicks or catchy hooks but instead brings a dose of sincere bars that really get you thinking.

TYC, an accronym for That Yung Chase, takes a real DIY approach to his music creating all his own sounds and visuals. He said, “It’s super important to me to be self-reliant, I try to do as much as I can by myself from making music to editing my music videos and designing my cover art. I want my music to promote positivity and challenge listeners, hoping they see things from a different perspective.”

His debut mixtape Muddy is set for release very soon and so make sure you’re following TYC on Twitter to keep up to date with all the latest info on that.
