Premiere: Anna Tosh – ‘Weightless’

Having played in a variety of different bands, London artist Anna Tosh has now decided to make the move to go solo. Explaining her decision, Tosh explains: “My intention for my solo project was simply to write some songs for myself, with no boundaries or expectations…” Now, set to release her new EP this summer, she has shared a brand new single.

Propelled by Tosh’s powerful, soulful vocals and relentless, whirring riffs, ‘ Weightless’ is inspired by a recurring dream of Anna’s, and oozes shades of the likes of ’90s rockers The Breeders. Filled with glitchy harmonies and a soaring energy, it’s an infectious and original sonic delight that’ll leave you hungry for more of Tosh’s sweet, indie-pop grooves.

‘Weightless’ is out tomorrow, 7 July. And you can catch Anna Tosh live tomorrow night at The Finsbury to celebrate its release.
