Premiere: DeadLoveFearWave – ‘Common Ground’

Manchester duo Paul Eaton and Jim Spencer, aka DeadLoveFearWave, combine their songwriting and producing skills to create ’80s reminiscent tracks filled with experimental instrumentation and distinctive Manchester vibes.

Set to release their debut single ‘Don’t Exist’ tomorrow, along with B-side ‘Common Ground’, DeadLoveFearWave use their many years of experience in the business (having individually worked alongside the likes of The Charlatans and Oasis) and a wide range of influences, to create their own unique sound, which is impossible to pigeon-hole into one specific genre. Of their sound, the duo say: “We didn’t talk about inspirations at the start of the project, we both knew the idea of sounds rather than specifics, but during the process we did find inspiration in unusual places.”
