PREMIERE: Drey Cheekz teams up with SNE for ‘New Girl’

After achieving thousands of plays across her recent tracks, hugely talented up & coming East London artist Drey Cheekz is back with her latest effort ‘New Girl’ and we’ve got the exclusive premiere of the audio below.

Taken from her forthcoming EP Last Laugh, ‘New Girl’ is a seriously contemporary feeling R&B anthem and showcases the real melodic vocal ability that Drey possesses. Also featuring fellow East Londoner SNE on the hook, we think this track is the best we’ve heard from Drey so far and the sing-a-long chorus has certainly made sure we keep hitting the repeat button.

Talking about the track, Drey Cheekz said, “New Girl was inspired from what I think every girl can relate to from time to time. That relationship or nowadays situationship you get so caught up in thinking it’s going to last forever, something goes wrong then along comes another girl who ends up with the guy you thought was the one. The verses pretty much sum up the story of what the girl has been going through, her thoughts and also what her close ones around her have said to help.”

22 year old Drey Cheekz kicked off her musical journey in 2013 and has since collaborated with fellow up and coming UK talent including Big Tobz, Blittz, and now SNE. Having officially become a member of the #TheGoodVibeTribe label in 2015, Drey has been working on her forthcoming project in order to showcase her ability as a strong singer/songwriter who is more than ready to dominate the game. With a solid EP and more anthems underway, Drey is well on the way to positioning herself as the next star to surface out of the UK scene, so make sure you’re paying attention.
