PREMIERE: Fran Lobo - 'Surround' (Hannah Holland Remix)

Fran Lobo is a singer, songwriter, artist, and producer who hails from Edmonton in North East London. She recently released her debut EP Surround with the help of The PRS Foundation and their ‘Women Make Music’ fund, and performed to a packed crowd at The Pickle Factory in celebration of the achievement.

Gigslutz are proud to premiere the Hannah Holland remix of Fran Lobo’s original track ‘Surround’, which she worked on with Holland during the recording of her EP. Fran is inspired by the empowerment of women working in music and art, and as well as writing and producing her own material she works with the all female LIPS choir, and is a renowned choral and music workshop leader in London.

With credentials and heart like that, it’s no wonder Fran’s music is as soulful and powerful as ‘Surround’ sounds. Hannah Holland’s mix adds a buoyant, dance quality to the original track and fractures Fran’s extended vocals in an exquisite way.
