Premiere: Stream Lanu’s new album ‘The Double Sunrise’ exclusively on Gigslutz

Founding member of the Bamboos, Melbourne guitarist Lanu (Lance Ferguson) has put together an excellent follow-up to his previous record: and we’re giving you the chance to stream it ahead of its release, exclusively on Gigslutz.

Due out tomorrow (30 September) The Double Sunrise is indescribably skillful, yet fantastically fun. While paying homage to the past with his talented guitar playing, Lanu uses his production talent to nod towards the likes of DJ Shadow – a versatility beyond anyone’s understanding.

Drawing comparisons from everyone from Arthur Lyman, Ghetto Brothers, Temper Trap and Beach House, it’s almost impossible not to love The Double Sunrise: there’s bound to be something you like in there.
