Sugarcane share the video for their rambunctious new single Blondes (Have More Fun)  with Gigslutz.

The single, out on May 28, heralds the arrival of their debut album Cat’s Eyes, due to drop in July.

The South London band have carved themselves a unique niche with their blend of British songwriting and the samba rhythms that have fascinated frontman Robin French since his early teens.

Blondes Have More Fun is a summer-style, sun drenched feelgood number but the lyrics , about the shameless plunder of less recognised music styles by stadium acts, carry a darker, more serious undertow.
