PREMIERE: The Velvet Hands share video for new single ‘Only Blame Myself’

The latest in a string of DIY singles, and ahead of the release of their forthcoming debut album, Party’s Over, The Velvet Hands have shared ‘Only Blame Myself’ – a dose of blistering, unrelenting rock ‘n’ roll.

Paired with a video by Gigsketch – an artist who draws bands at gigs, then animates the drawings – which narrates the track alongside live sketches, ‘Only Blame Myself’ delivers a 2 and a half minutes of Strokes-esque riffs and high-energy swagger. It’s hugely exciting – an example of why The Velvet Hands should be on everyone’s ones to watch lists this year, and a taste of what’s their debut has to offer (and we’ve no doubt it’s brilliant.)
