REVIEW: Ventrelles Emily's Song 7" vinyl release

Harking from Manchester Ventrelles have been releasing some superb guitar based indie jangle dream blockbusters, their latest release is set to continue in that addictive ilk.

Emily’s Song is adorable, backed with the equally delicious It’s In The Papers, the double whammy gets thrown out to an unsuspecting public tomorrow. Lucky there’s no Halloween frights being unfurled with Emily Song, it’s a just a wonderful composition. Firmly an anthem for summer or thinking of glorious summer days, the sort of tune The Cribs could conjure up, featuring sparkling Johnny Marr sounding This Charming Man guitars, some lovely deep bass work sounding like prime Simon Gallop along with some Blossoms sounding keys, there’s only good things to speak of here.

With a tour dates booked in with the likes of Marseille, and at London’s Hope and Anchor, your don’t want to miss out on seeing these sparkling tunesmiths.
