Royal Blood, Wolf Alice, Everything Everything & The Oh Sees Design New Range Of Band T-Shirts To Benefit Young Adult Cancer Support Charity Trekstock

Young adult cancer support charity Trekstock have announced the new collection from their Yellow Bird Project, a band-tee fundraising initiative to support young people with cancer. The new collection, features original designs from internationally-celebrated artists including Royal Blood, Wolf Alice, Everything Everything and Oh SeesT-shirts retail at £22 with 100% of all proceeds going directly to Trekstock.

Founded in 2006 but re-launched by Trekstock in 2017, The Yellow Bird Project brings together some of the biggest and best artists in the world to raise money for its work supporting young adults in their 20s and 30s as they live with, through, and beyond cancer. The newest collection includes unique designs by Brit award-winning rock duo Royal Blood and Grammy-award nominated Wolf Alice, who’s design features a hand-drawn illustration by the band’s front woman, Ellie Rowsell.

Speaking of the design, Ellie said: “I tried to draw a werewolf but he came out looking all sad and vulnerable. I quite like the idea of things that are supposed to be menacing and scary showing their human, sensitive side – much like the Beast in ‘Beauty and the Beast’, so here is the loneliest werewolf on earth.”

Previous bands that have designed shirts, also available now, include: Foals, The Maccabees, Alt-J, The Horrors, Hot Chip, Metronomy, Chvrches, The National, and Bloc Party. Sophie Epstone, Founder & CEO, Trekstock, said: “We are incredibly grateful that our Yellow Bird Project has garnered support from some of the very best artists in the world. Every individual design, makes an invaluable difference to not only helping fund our vital services, but generating much needed awareness for Trekstock and the young adults with cancer that we support.”

All T-shirts are available now from yellowbirdproject.com. Make sure you grab one of the exclusive designs asap!
