Röyksopp are set to release their first single since 2011, ‘Running to the Sea’, on December 16th it has been announced. The track features vocals from Norwegian artist Susanne Sundfør, topping the charts in Norway, before the worldwide release was announced.

The duo, comprised of Svein Berge and Torbjørn Brundtland, have remixed Lady Gaga, Depeche Mode and Kings of Leon as well as written for Robyn and Lykke Li.

Speaking of the single, and its b-side ‘Something In My Heart’, the duo said: “’Running To The Sea’ and ‘Something In My Heart’ are in essence both expressions of compulsion and its strong, often uncontrollable, persisting pull.”
