Rupert Stroud to release new EP, ‘Talk To You’

Starting out by covering Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ songs at school concerts, Leeds singer Rupert Stroud has now announced the release of his new EP. Now writing his own songs and having supported the likes of James Blunt, The Hoosiers and Gabrielle Aplin, as well as playing Manchester’s Ethiad Stadium in front of 40,000 people, Stroud is certainly making a name for himself and has received acclaim from XFM, 6Music and Radio 2.

As well as creating music, Stroud is also extremely passionate about campaigning for the charity, Alzheimer’s Research UK, and has spoken out for the cause in The Guardian, various TV shows and even in parliament.

With this impressive list of achievements already under his belt, Stroud’s latest EP oozes his trademark Northern passion, heartfelt melodies and sweeping choruses that would make Elbow proud. Produced by Will Jackson (Kaiser Chiefs, The Cribs) on Stroud’s own Xidus label, Talk To You is out 12th April. Pre-order here.
