Lancaster based pych-punk duo The Lovely Eggs release their latest single, ‘This Decision’

Taken from their upcoming LP, ‘I Am A Moron’, the track continues the bands crusade into a boundary pushing brand of punk. With wonderfully distorted swirling guitars and jagged vocals, the track encapsulates their attack on the mainstream.

The accompanying video continues to push boundaries as well, showcasing the bands trademark take on psycadelia with a vast array of colours flashing past in an anti-establishment blaze.

The track itself takes aim at the consumerist culture that permeates modern society, as well as the landscape of Brexit Britain.

“For the video we wanted something with the pedal to the frigging floor.” Stated frontwoman Holy Ross. “The track is pretty intense so we wanted something to match and take a pop at the moronic capitalist culture we’re surrounded with these days.”

This record follows up from 2017’s ‘This is Eggland’ and is co-produced by Dave Fridmann, who has previously worked with the likes of MGMT, Tame Impala and The Flaming Lips.
