Forget anything else today: the only information you need is that The Great Escape has added to their 2018 bill. This calls for all kinds of celebration. Surprise party on the cards?
The Great Escape, held across Brighton from May 17-19, has revealed that the likes of Goat Girl, Honey Lung, Let’s Eat Grandma and the fantastic, Tom Grennan will all be making appearances across the weekend.
Joining these names are This Feeling favourites and Sheffield ruffians, Sheafs, we, scream, you scream, Trampolene and babe with the power, Emily Cappell.
Elsewhere, expect to feast your eyes on the spectacle which are Himalayas, Charley and the Lesbians, Yellow Days, Superorganism and many, many more.
As well as the new additions to the already-bursting bill, The Great Escape has announced a brand new, 2000 capacity festival site for the 2018 event. Called ‘The Beach’, the site is set to be host to two venues on the fringe of Brighton beach. Expect to find delicious food stall and pop-up performance pads scattered all over the place.
Curators at The Beach include Dr Martens and Island Records.
