TRACK: HAUS – ‘Shameless’

In the past few years, London five-piece HAUS have been making quite a name for
themselves playing a handful of the major festivals and playing shows nationwide. They
have recently released their new single ‘Shameless’ with Atlas Artists.

Their past releases have proved to be solid songs that fit into their electro-indie genre
perfectly, and their new single doesn’t hold back. ‘Shameless’ starts with a staccato bass
line which instantly gets your feet moving, after hearing the song you won’t be surprised
that it was produced by Everything Everything’s Alex Robertshaw. The beats used, and the
reverberated guitar lines bode perfectly with frontman Ashley Mulimba’s creamy sounding vocals.

This song touches on the issues of anxiety in this modern world and how it can affect you,
although it’s a solid dance track you can’t help but listen to the beautifully written lyrics.
They go hand in hand with overall feel of the track, making you want to dance but also
just sit and appreciate what this guy is saying.

If you’re looking for a new band to get your teeth into then HAUS are a good shout, they
are heading out on an extensive UK this February, playing shows in Leeds, London,
