UK PREMIERE: Virus Syndicate unleash intense track ‘Gimme The Mic’

Ahead of the release of their eagerly awaited new album Symptomatic, Mancunian Grime collective Virus Syndicate have decided to share a few tracks and we’re excited to bring you the UK premiere of their latest effort, ‘Gimme The Mic‘.

Having been part of the UK scene for over ten years now, Goldfinger, JSD and Nika D who make up the group, are no strangers to creating intense sounds that capture the essence of their surroundings and their thoughts on the world they live in. With Grime and Dubstep being their main output, it is no surprise that this track resembles a hybrid concoction of the two.

With a beat that’s enveloped by a wild, raspy bassline which thumps throughout and the usual entertaining wordplay and dexterous flows we’ve come to expect from Virus Syndicate, ‘Gimme The Mic’ is undoubtedly one of their most striking releases for a long while. Whilst fans are already anticipating a strong LP when Symptomatic drops on 29th February, this track will undoubtedly ensure that fans and new listeners alike will be checking out the project upon release.
