Having formed back in 2007, The Barnum Meserve are no ordinary band – instead of the usual set up of whirring guitars, the Nottingham trio choose to create their distinct sound merely with piano, bass and drums. With their debut album released in 2015 – to acclaim from the likes of Big Cheese Magazine and Team Rock – The Barnum Meserve are now set to release another epic album next month.
Taken from the album is new track ‘The Summit’. An intense, climactic soundscape, racing with pummelling beats and oozing the powerful, impassioned growl of Leon Wiley, it’s an eerie, yet catchy, slice of cinematic rock.
