Having received acclaim from the likes of John Kennedy and DIY, London trio Inca Maps are back with another catchy slice of art-pop. Following last single ‘Weave’, they’re set to release their debut EP next month and are ready to allure the ears of many with their synth-filled sonic delights.
Taken from the EP is new single ‘That Wasn’t Easy’. A reflection on dysfunctional love, it is filled with infectious, uptempo beats, soaring hooks and emotion-strewn vocals, creating a rich ’80s-inspired soundscape. A captivatingly complex and simply addictive offering that’s sure to propel Inca Maps to success.

Of the video, director Alexander Brunacci explains:
“For me the track has a sense of rawness and vulnerability. To portray this I took a minimalist approach using close up shots, limited cuts and chose to forgo any cosmetic enhancement. I think the result depicts a heartfelt confessional.”
One, the upcoming debut EP from Inca Maps, is out 23 June.
