Having formed back in 2009, St Louis trio Jailbox have previously supported Devendra Banhart and Daniel Johnston, before going on a two year hiatus. Returning to songwriting last year, the band are have now shared a brand new single.
Exploring themes of loss and reflection, ‘Idea Jar’ flows with gentle, twinkling melodies and rich musical layers, reminiscent of the likes of Bon Iver. Filled with impassioned vocals, it’s a beautifully emotion-strewn creation that’ll send shivers down your spine.
